Elaine Ruth Gross age 75, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at her home.

In following Elaine's wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Elaine was born in Alma, MI on July 10, 1943, the daughter of John and Mildred (Derry) Woodcock.  She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1961.  Elaine was married to Fredrick Gross.  He preceded her in death.

Elaine worked for the Alma Public Schools as a para pro.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.  Elaine was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and his music.  She also loved to collect Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Elaine is survived by her sister Patricia Christensen of St. Louis, nephews: Bruce, John, Robert and Matthew Woodcock; great nieces:  Michelle, Mary, and Mindy; and a great nephew Mark; great great nieces and nephews: Cora, Ashlyn, Gavin, Emma, Kaylie, Ryder, Andi Sue, Bella, Brooke, Logen, and Jacob; and great great great nephew Matthew.  She is also survived by close friends and caregivers Davey and Lynn Lassen, and Kim and Dwane Carroll.  Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, brothers John and Robert Woodcock, nephew Chris Christensen, niece Tammie Woodcock, and great great nephew Matteo.
