Elaine Salsbury

Elaine Sue Salsbury age 70, of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Coe Church of Christ 10152 E. Coe Road, St. Louis, MI on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-6:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

Elaine was born in Alma, Michigan on June 10, 1946, the daughter of Carlyle and Betty (Fisher) Raby.  Elaine resided most of her life in Riverdale and St. Louis, MI.  She attended Alma High School.  Elaine married Jack Salsbury on November 13, 1965 in Riverdale, Michigan.  Elaine was a member of the Coe Church of Christ and enjoyed helping at the church.  Her favorite pastime was to embroider.  She was a Detroit Tiger fan. In the past she used to like going to Crystal Raceway to watch her sons and nephews.  Elaine dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Jack Salsbury of St. Louis, MI, 3 sons; Jeff Salsbury of Kentwood, MI, Troy and Lilly Salsbury of Ithaca, MI, Kevin and Jennifer Salsbury of St. Louis, MI, 8 grandchildren; Valerie (Thomas) Slager, Christopher Salsbury, Kevin Salsbury II, Peter Salsbury, Aaron Salsbury, Katie (Decker) Dosson, Breanna Clark, and Nikki Marble, and sister Peggy Palmer of Riverdale, MI.  Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, brother Butch Raby, and brother-in-law John Palmer.
