Elenore Green

Elenore Leota Green passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Hazel I Findlay Country Manor in St. Johns.

Elenore was born on March 12, 1924 to Herman and Leona (Smith) Manske in Fountain. Elenore graduated from Ludington High School and soon moved to Clare where she raised her family. Elenore loved people, dancing, singing, watching Jeopardy, reading and doing crossword puzzles but most of all she loved spending time with family.

Elenore is survived by her children Leslie J. (Rose) Luft, Shannon Green, Kristi (Roger) Wood, Shelbey (Darryl) Englander and John (Lisa) Green; ten grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and friend and ex-husband, John A. Green.

A Memorial service will be held in Ludington at a later date. Those who desire may make contributions in Elenore's memory to Hazel I Findlay Country Manor, 1101 South Scott Road, St Johns, MI 48879; Hospice Advantage, 801 S Waverly, Suite 304, Lansing, MI 48917; or a charity of your choice.
