Elizabeth "Liz" Agnes Dietrich age 92 of Owosso, Michigan died Friday, June 13, 2008 at home.

Funeral Services will be held at First United Methodist Church Owosso, MI on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Duane Harris will officiate with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Elizabeth was born in Rexton, Michigan on December 24, 1915, the daughter of Albert Wellington and Etta Belle (Shields) Langdon. She resided most of her life in Owosso and graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1934. Elizabeth married Charles Dietrich who passed away in 1968. Liz worked for Universal Electric for many years and was the former owner of the Welcome Inn in Owosso. Liz was a very caring and giving person. Caring for others was a big part of Liz's life. She was a long time friend of "the Vandecar Ladies." Liz was a life long and active member of the First United Methodist Church of Owosso. She also worked in the nursery for many years and was a MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) Leader. Liz was a 4-H Leader for over 50 years and ran the food tent and 4-H tent at the Shiawassee County Fair. She was also a member of the Pleasant View Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter Pat & John Inhulsen of Sarasota, FL, son John & Jill Allen of Flint, MI, grandchildren; J C Inhulsen & wife Lori Towner, Brad & Lisa Inhulsen, Mark & Debby Inhulsen, Carole & Tommy Souza, Joe & Katie Allen, & Jeana Allen, 8 great grandchildren, and sister Leona "Lee" Pollick of Owosso. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, five brothers; William, Ervin, Keith, Robert, and Kenneth Langdon, and brother-in-law Stephen Pollick.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso.
