Elizabeth Glick

Elizabeth "Mae" Glick, age 87, of Lansing formerly of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 at Craft Care Home, Mason, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Wesley J. Coffey will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday December 14, 2009 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Elizabeth Mae was born in Durand, Michigan on June 25, 1922, the daughter of John and Jennie (Hess) Rapp. She graduated from Owosso High School and resided most of her life in Owosso. Mae married John W. Glick on June 19, 1965 in Owosso. He passed away on February 2, 1997.

Mae was employed by Universal Electric of Owosso for many years. She loved animals especially her cats. Mae loved to listen to the Owosso High School Band and attending Owosso Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School and was very active. Mae's grandchildren were a very important part of her life.

She is survived by her daughter Carolyn and David Cochrane of Lansing, MI, 2 sons; Richard Grosvenor of Lansing, MI, Jerry and Suzanne Grosvenor of Corunna, MI, 4 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Gaylord Rapp and her sister Naomi Miller.
