Elizabeth Ann Gooding age 66 of Corunna, Michigan died Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 11:00 A.M at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. There will be an Eastern Star service to follow after the Memorial Service. Rev. John Ingram and Rev. David McGarvey will officiate.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
Elizabeth was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 8, 1938 the daughter of George Roy & Reta Winifred (Helmer) Gillette. On July 14, 2001 she married James Jay Gooding in Corunna, Michigan.
She attended the 1st Baptist Church of Corunna. She was a member of the Womena�(TM)s Missionary society, and also served on the Church Board at various times.
She was a hairdresser and she also worked for the Corunna Public Schools in the kitchen and on the playground. She ran Betha�(TM)s Cut N Curls and loved to pamper her ladies. She also loved to bake pies & cookies and spending time at the family cabin in Gladwin.
She is survived by her husband; James Gooding of Corunna, MI, son; Derald L. & Cathy Cramner of Corunna, MI, son; Steven Cramner of Washington D.C., daughter; Kathy Cramner of Pasodina, CA, son; Tracy Cramner of Corunna, MI, son; Jeffery & Robin Cramner of Charlotte, N.C., step-son; James John & Anita Gooding of Roan Oake, VA, step-daughter; Sally Sue & Mike Peabody of Sunfield, MI, step-daughter; Denise Ellen & John Koger of San Diego, CA, step-son; Timothy Jon Gooding of Shia Town, MI.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Lindsay & Whitney Cramner, Sarah King, Sara Standard, Collin & Matthew Cramner, great-granddaughter; Alexis, step-grandchildren; Andrew, Emily & William Gooding, Phillip & Jacob Peabody, her mother; Reta Winifred Eicher of Corunna, MI and brother; Richard Eicher of Corunna, MI.
She was predeceased by: her first husband; Derald I. Cramner they were married on March 8, 1958, he died on December 29, 1986, her sister; Winifred Gillette and step-father; Kenneth Eicher.
Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy or the Corunna Educational Foundation.
