Elizabeth Theresa Kellogg, age 75, of Owosso, MI passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Dan Glardon will officiate. Burial will follow at Howard Cemetery, Bennington Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 26, 2010 from 5-7 and on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Elizabeth was born in Lennon, Michigan on June 29, 1934, the daughter of Zigmund and Helen (Forro) Boldovics. Elizabeth married Eugene Kellogg on February 16, 1952 in Owosso. He passed away on October 11, 2003. Elizabeth resided most of her life in Shiawassee County.
Elizabeth worked as a Machine Operator for 38 years, retiring in 1996. She had worked for Mitchell Bentley and Toledo Commutator. She was a member of Moonlight Riders Snowmobile Club. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was very important to her. Elizabeth loved going to Branson, Missouri with her husband and going to country music concerts.
She is survived by her daughter Linda and Richard Spaleny of Corunna, MI, son Michael and Cheryl Kellogg of Braselton, GA, daughter Theresa and Robert Smith of Wichita, KS, grandchildren; Jamie & Dean, Ben & Marcie, Greg, Mandy & Anthony, Megan, Matthew and Hans, great-grandchildren; Ariel, Emmitt, Bailey, Samantha, Brayden, Claudia and Dillan, 2 sisters; Mary Follen of Swartz Creek, MI, Julia Baumchen of Durand, MI, and special nephew Jerry and Christy Jones of Chesterfield, MO. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Jim Boldovics and sister Helen Jones.
