Elizabeth "Beth" Leota Schultheiss age 77 of St. Louis, Michigan died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Dennis Brecht will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery Alma, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 4-8 P.M.
Elizabeth was born in Long Beach, California on August 30, 1930 the daughter of Edward and Leota ( Kumba ) Wulf. Beth met and married the love of her life, Gary Schultheiss, of St. Louis on July 3, 1978. They lived happily ever after for almost 25 years when she lost her beloved Gary in 2003. Beth enjoyed a long, interesting life in various fields of employment. Her work took her to Alaska where she was given the title "Queen of Whales", to Algeria where the trailer she was living in was blown up, and back to the U.S. The job she enjoyed the most was right here in St. Louis, Michigan where she called home. She shared her stories with all who came into the tax office. Beth was a remarkable business woman.
She is survived by numerous close friends and clients whom have become dear friends lasting 30 years. She is predeceased by her parents, dear husband, and her son.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the "Elizabeth Schultheiss Scholarship Fund" is suggested. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
