Eloyce J. Sentes age 77 of Alma, MI, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
A Memorial Luncheon will be held at Mount Hope United Brethren Church, 5941 South Mount Hope Road, Carson City, MI 48811, at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, with EJ Horricks officiating. The luncheon will be served potluck style. Burial will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Alma, MI.
Eloyce was born in Saginaw County, Michigan on July 27, 1939, the daughter of Clarence "Frank" and Alta (McLean) Stevens. Eloyce and Donald "Jim" Sentes had just celebrated 31 years of marriage together. Eloyce retired from Lobdell-Emery. She enjoyed garage sales with her family, gardening, canning and baking. She loved the time spent with her grandchildren and her dogs.
She is survived by husband; Donald "Jim" Sentes of Alma, MI, sons; Rod and Denise Fisher of Wheeler, MI, Victor "Rocky" and Theresa Fisher of St. Louis, MI, grandchildren; Jenna (Casey Teegardin) Simcox, Jamie Fisher, Ryan (Ashley) Simcox, Erica (Justin) Dilts, Shawn (Lauren) Fisher, Mandi Simcox, Brent Fisher, and Erin Fisher, siblings; Delores and Dave Golden of Bear Lake, MI, Mary Lou Straub of Ypsilanti, MI, Susan and Fred Schaub of Bear Lake, MI, Roger and Karen Stevens of Carson City, MI, sister in law Carol Stevens of Stanton, MI. She is also survived by her step children, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her dogs; Lacey and Daisy. Eloyce was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kari Fisher-Simcox, and brothers; Merlyn Stevens and Ronald Stevens.
