Elsie Foster

Elsie B. Foster age 91 of St. Louis, Michigan died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Rev. Glenn Pettigrove will officiate with burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2005 from 4-8 P.M.
Elsie was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on September 20, 1913 the daughter of Arthur & Clara ( Yarger ) Gould. She was a lifelong resident of St. Louis, Michigan. Elsie married Howard Foster on June 18, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker; she and her husband spent much of their time working on their farm in St. Louis. Together they also enjoyed working in their extensive vegetable garden. They also loved fishing and spending time at their cottage at Higgins Lake.
Survivors include 3 grandchildren Scott & Julie Londry of Kalamazoo, MI, Pam & Brian Lauckner of Merrill, MI, Dana & Chris Jenkins of Merrill, MI, and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, daughter Sandra Londry in 1996 and sister Gertrude Snell.
