Elsie Westall

Elsie J. Westall age 89, of Ithaca, Michigan passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Alma, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor George Showers officiating.  Burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Elsie was born in Hamilton Township, Michigan on September 9, 1927, the daughter of Wilson and Stella (Kesling) Zimmerman.  She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1943. On February 3, 1945 Elsie married Gerald Westall in Ithaca, Michigan.  Elsie was a dental assistant for Dr. Jack Humm in Ithaca, Michigan for 17 years. She loved music and playing bid euchre and she enjoyed golfing, dancing, traveling and bowling.  She was a member of Ithaca Church of God.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Westall of Ithaca, MI, 3 daughters; Vicki and Monty Wood, Sheila and Gordon "Tuff" Rummer, and Brenda and Michael Carson, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, granddaughter Kaelyn Carson, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.
