Emma Grace Woodcock age 72 of St. Louis, Michigan died Sunday, September 5, 2005 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Brian Wickes will officiate with burial at Chapel Gardens Cemetery in Elwell. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the funeral home.
Emma was born on January 10, 1933 the daughter of Emrey Edman and Helen May (Daniels) Shepard. She resided most of her life in St. Louis. She graduated from Alma High School in 1952. Emma married Elvin LeRoy Woodcock in Angola, IN on February 25, 1953. She was a member of Freedomway Church in Crystal. Emma was a homemaker and also worked at Detroiter Mobile Homes and Redmond Motors in Ithaca. She enjoyed researching geneology, and also loved to spend time with her family
She is survived by her husband Elvin LeRoy Woodcock of St. Louis, MI, son Tom Fitzgerald of Rolla, MO, daughter Deb & Thom Gleason of Oa�(TM)Fallon, MO, son Keith & Deb Woodcock of Vestaburg, MI, son Kevin & Elizabeth Woodcock of Alma, MI, son Kyle & Diann Woodcock of St. Louis, MI, 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Jim Shepard, Art Shepard, 5 sisters; Rachael Grove, Josephine Shepard, Elaine Keyser, Betty Dowell, Dorsha Thomas, also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers John & Ed Shepard, and a sister Mildred Lapan
The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
