Emmaline Hall

Emmaline M. Hall, age 92, of St. Louis, MI passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Warwick Living Center, Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor David Jewell officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. and on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Emmaline was born in North Star, Michigan on August 31, 1922, the daughter of Jollie and Gertrude (Dougherty) Canouts. Emmaline married Arthur Wayne Hall on July 27, 1940 in St. Louis, MI.

Emmaline retired from Wilcox Nursing Home after 21 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, camping, dancing and playing cards. She was a wonderful cook. Emmaline loved her husband, children and others and was always there for them, whenever there was a problem everyone went to her first.

She is survived by her children; Sandra and Ray Tester, Marlene and Orville Little, Don and Lee Hall, Ron and Sandy Hall, son in law Richard and Liz Hudson, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and son in law Pat and Jim Tester, daughter Phyllis Hudson, grandson Phillip Hall, one sister and one brother.
