Erasmo Castillo, Jr.

      Erasmo Castillo, Jr., age 69, of Owosso, MI, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024.
      A Celebration of Erasmo's life will be held at a later date. 
      Erasmo was born in Alma, MI on February 21, 1955, the son of Erasmo B. and Mary Lupe (Ramirez) Castillo. He was a graduate of St. Louis High School.
      He retired from Green Meadow Farms in Elsie after many years. Erasmo was an avid sports fan, especially the Detroit Lions, Tigers and U of M sports. He also had a love of classic cars. He was a big movie buff, watching all movies. Erasmo will be remembered for being meticulous in decorating, keeping up his yard and being a wonderful cook. He had a deep fondness for all animals and caring for stray animals. Erasmo loved family outings and going shopping. He loved drinking coffee and Pepsi. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy and he loved the food they shared. He also enjoyed playing video games with all the children in his family. Erasmo was hard working, compassionate, kind, empathetic, forgiving to anyone, which gained him many friendships over the years.
     He is survived by his son Erasmo Castillo, III; mother Mary Castillo; granddaughter: Mackenzie Diane Castillo; sister Lupe Kimmel; sister Margaret Mahle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Erasmo was preceded in death by his father Erasmo Castillo, brother Frank Castillo, sister Irma Castillo, brother-in-law Jeff Kimmel, his uncle Alex Ramirez, and aunt Rosemary Albring. He was also preceded in death by many other family members.
