Eric Max Kremer, age 42, of Bannister, MI passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Fr. Bill Gruden officiating. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI. Rosary/Wake will be prayed on Friday evening at 7:00 P.M.
Eric was born in Carson City, Michigan on February 11, 1973, the son of Max and Donna (Coon) Kremer. He graduated from Ashley High School as the Valedictorian with the class of 1991. He graduated from Michigan State University in December of 1999, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and a minor in Business Administration. Eric was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. Eric married Kathy Haley on July 15, 2000, in Bannister, MI.
Eric was a farmer and co-owner of H&K Dairy, LLC, in Bannister, MI, where he pursued his passion of agriculture and business. Eric enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending Red Wing hockey games and Jimmy Buffett concerts. He enjoyed traveling with his family to Petoskey, Mexico and Hawaii. He was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Kremer, 3 children; Nicholas, Ava and Claudia Kremer, parents Max and Donna Kremer, sister Julie Kremer, father-in-law Mark Haley, brother-in-law Ken and Deena Haley and sister-in-law Cyndi Haley. He is also survived by his life long friend and business partner, Fred Heinze, and many other friends and family.
