Erich Freiwald

Erich Otto Freiwald age 62, of Wheeler, MI passed away December 26, 2017 at his home.

According to Erich's wishes a cremation has taken place and burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI at a later date.

Erich was born in Detroit, MI on October 22, 1955, the son of Herman and Jean Irene (Davis) Freiwald.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines.  He was a driver for Griffin Transport.  Erich loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing and his dog, Angel

Erich is survived by the love of his life, fiancée Karen Carey-Doan, step-daughter Katie (Andrew) Cardenas, step-son Edward Doan, 4 grandchildren: Cameron, Gage, Lucas, and Leia; sister Kimberly Oberlitner and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Stella Freiwald.
