Ernest R. "Jimmy" "Ernie" March age 77 of Owosso, Michigan died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare Owosso, Michigan.
Graveside Services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, MI on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM. A Luncheon will follow at the ARC, 1905 W. M-21, Owosso, MI from 12:00 – 4:00 P.M.
Jimmy was born in Petoskey, Michigan on June 30, 1930 the son of Ernest Roy and Amelia S. ( Childs ) March. Jimmy loved bowling, camping at Lake Huron, shopping, garage sales, and Steve Erwin "The Crocodile Hunter" on Animal Planet. Also, spending time with his girlfriend, Theresa, was very important to him.
He is survived by his niece Debra & Matthew Vizi of Owosso, MI, great niece Tia & Tim Moyer of Owosso, MI, her children; Nathan, Tyler, Aidan Moyer, great niece Jenna Granger of Owosso, MI, her daughter Jacklyn Wilson, great nephews; Arick & Aaron Granger of Owosso, MI, special campanion Theresa Delaney of Morrice, MI, and best friend Joe Durfee. He is predeceased by parents, and brother Otis E. March, former owner of Ernie's Market.
Memorials may be made to Alternative Services Consumer's Vacation Fund. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
