Ernestine Ruth "Ernie" (Moore) Hatfield

     Ernestine Ruth "Ernie" Hatfield, age 91, of Ovid, MI, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at her daughter's home.

     Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

     Ernestine was born in Elsie, Michigan on January 2, 1931, the daughter of Eugene and Marguerite (Sexton) Moore. She enjoyed trips to the casino, camping up north and attending the Mackinaw Bridge Walk over Labor Day. Ernie was a member of the United Church of Ovid and the Eastern Stars. 

     She is survived by her sister Elizabeth "Annie" Mitchell of Ohio, son Ernest and Shannen Everts of Ovid, MI; daughters: Connie and Walter Sloan of Arizona; and Sally Wilson of Lansing, MI; step-children: Ken (Lori) Hatfield and Peggy Collins. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-seven great- grandchildren with two more on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Don Hatfield, and son David Everts.
