Ervin Rose

Ervin Lester "Rosie" Rose age 91, of Ovid, MI, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held later in June.

Rosie was born in Laingsburg, MI on September 29, 1927 the son of Merle and Viola (Curtis) Rose.  He owned and operated Rose Excavating in Ovid for 42 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Margaret of Ovid, daughters: Linda Hooker of Durand, LuAnn Rose of St. Johns, Cindy Rademacher of Crystal Lake, son Terry Rose of Owosso. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grand babies, and brother Darwin Rose of Dewitt.   He was preceded in death by brothers: Duane, Gale, Jimmy and sister Donna.
