Eunice Marianne Sangster, age 64, of St. Louis, MI died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Alma First Church of God on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Steve Wimmer and Pastor Ron Woolsey will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel.
Eunice was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 20, 1946, the daughter of Dean Mart and Jennie Maud (Hause) Jones. She was a graduate of North Muskegon High School class of 1964. Eunice married Kenneth Sangster on September 28, 1964 in Alma, MI. She and Ken have resided in St. Louis for the past 45 years. She had worked at General Telephone, Scripture Palace, and Gratiot Chiropractic. She was an avid reader, enjoyed camping, and was very active in the Alma Church of God, including Stephen Ministry leadership, Church Choir, taking care of communion, and served as an elder for six years.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Sangster of St. Louis, MI, 2 sons; Kenneth Lee and Theresa Sangster Jr. of Alma, MI, Michael Edward and Donna Sangster of St. Louis, MI, 6 grandchildren; Robert Sangster of Alma, MI, Elizabeth Sangster of Alma, MI, Nicholas Sangster of St. Louis, MI, Samantha Sangster of St. Louis, MI, Alisha Laethem of St. Louis, MI, Christina Laethem of Sarasota, FL, 1 great grandson Daelyn Gross of St. Louis, MI, brother John and Jeanne Jones of Muskegon, MI, sister Catherine Jones of Lake City, FL, brother Frank and Shirley Allen of Muskegon, MI, sister Linda and Kevin Rowe of Cathedral City, CA, and a sister Virginia Allen of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother in law Nan and George Kroeze.
