Eva Louise Every, age 85, of Elsie, MI died Monday, December 28, 2009 at Sparrow Health Systems Sparrow Campus in Lansing, MI.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Eva was born in Maple Rapids, Michigan on October 17, 1924, the daughter of Harry C. and Verda May (Campbell) Tyler. She attended Maple Rapids Schools. Eve was a lifelong resident of the area. Eva loved to feed her wild birds that she cared for each and every day. She especially loved her best friend and roommate Amber, her little kitten. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and was an excellent baker. She loved attending Lansing Community College Softball games. The greatest joy of her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister, MI.

She is survived by son Dennis Lee and Susan Every of Muskegon, MI, son Ronald Wayne and Nikki Every of Bloomfield, NY, son Robert Anthony and Susan Every of Lansing, MI, daughter Rosemary Verda and Charles Magsig of St. Johns, MI, son Gary Curtis Every of Lansing, MI, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, sister Dorothy Larsen of Midland, MI, brother Harry and Joann Tyler of Oregon, her companion of 30 years Steve Swanchara of Elsie, MI, dear friend Mary Richards of Elsie, MI, and a special niece Marsha Bradley of Midland, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Alex Tijerina from Texas, and 2 brothers Richard Tyler of Oregon and Jack Tyler of Vickeryville, MI.
