Evelyn Thelen

Evelyn L. Thelen passed away, January 30, 2012, at the age of 78. She was born on July 30, 1933 in Fowler, Michigan. The daughter of William and Leona (Wieber) Snyder. Evelyn married Stanley R. Thelen on January 21, 1953 and survives her. Evelyn was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and served as a past regent of the Daughters of Isabella.

Evelyn is also survived by her son, Eric Thelen, sisters, Karen (Jerry) Spitzley, Bernadine (Keith) Miller, Cindy (Gerome) Thelen, one brother, Stanley Snyder as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Randy, and two brothers, Neil and Clare Snyder.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. The family will receive friends, Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Rosaries being prayed at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Goerge Chapel of The Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maryknoll Sisters. The family was served by The Osgood Funeral Homes.
