Everet Siefka

Everet Lee Siefka, age 83, of St. Louis, MI died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Dale Wolfe will officiate. Burial will take place at Emerson Township Cemetery Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Everet was born in Emerson Township, Michigan on January 17, 1926, the son of Carl and Ida (Raske) Siefka. He attended Alma High School, and was a lifelong resident and farmer in St. Louis. Everet married Anna Fisher at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wheeler on Aug. 6, 1949. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering on old tractors and machinery.

He is survived by his wife Anna Siefka of St. Louis, MI, 2 sons; Michael and Brenda Siefka of St. Louis, MI, Wayne Siefka and fiancée Heidi Zent of Alma, MI, 5 grandchildren; Kelly and Todd Stoneman of Breckenridge, MI, Leslie and Brian Donovan of Fowlerville, MI, Eric and Jessica Siefka of Alma, MI, Casey Siefka of Lansing, MI, Spenser Siefka of St. Louis, MI, 5 great grandchildren; Madysen & Shelby Stoneman, Blake & Ryder Siefka, Pazlee Donovan, and a sister Doris Kime of Muskegon, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson John Siefka.
