Evert "Doc" Lawrence Sigafoose age 72, died Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Spectrum Health Butterworth, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Graveside Service will be held at Payne Cemetery in Fulton Township on Wednesday May 12, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. with a Memorial Service to follow at Bannister United Methodist Church in Bannister, Michigan at 12:00 P.M.
Doc was born on May 23, 1931 in Bangel Township the son of Evert Lacy Holcomb & Vacie Ellen Sigafoose. He resided most of his life in Bannister, Michigan. Doc was a Lumberman. He was a member of Bannister United Methodist Church in Bannister, Michigan. He was also a life time member of the Alma VFW and a past member of the Bannister VFW.
He is survived by his son, Gary Lee & Sandy Mae Sigafoose, son Steve Alan Sigafoose, daughter, Shari Lynn Weber, daughter, Shelly Rae Sigafoose, daughter, Sandra Kay & Timothy Anderson, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Leona Van Buskirk, brother, Jack Milligan, sister, Lois Milligan & sister Karen Crechy. He is predeceased by his parents, son Roger J. Sigafoose, brother, Donald Stambaugh, and 1 grandson.
The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
