Evon was born July 18, 1918, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph & Josephine Kioski. She lived most of her life in the Elsie/St. Johns area. She married George Goscinski in 1942 and they celebrated their 73rd anniversary in March 2015. While George was in the Navy they made their home in Florida and Alabama. In 1946 she and George bought a farm on Chandler Road and made that their home for the next 69 years. She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Evon loved life; she loved to dance the polka with George and enjoyed the ladies at swimming. Her love of sewing kept her girls in dresses and quilts for her family and the needy. She loved to cook and bake for family gatherings and made chicken noodle soup for her sick friends. She was an artist and shared many of her oil paintings and china pieces with her family and friends. She decorated cakes and made all of her daughters, grandchildren and many family members' wedding cakes. At a very young age she acquired a Brownie Camera and has always been a photographer. Thanks to her many photos she was able to document the history of the farm. She was employed by Mitchell Bentley, Owosso before her retirement. She was very involved with her girl's school, 4-H and loved doing things with them.

Evon is survived by her husband George, two daughters; Janice (Jeff) Martin of Middleton, Wisconsin and Georgia (Art) Ellwanger of DeWitt, MI, five grandchildren; Joel (Mary) Martin of St. Michael, MN, Jonathan (Erika) Martin of Washburn, WI, Lewis (Nichole) Ellwanger of Olivet, MI, Jennifer Loveland of Detroit, Gretchen Plamondon of Quincy, MA, great grandchildren; McKenna and Jack Martin of St. Michael, MN, Nora Ellwanger of Olivet, MI, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sonja Ann Plamondon, brothers; Adam, Joe and John, and sisters; Mary Jo, Wanda and Lillian.
