Fayetta F. Turner, age 81, of Morrice, MI died Sunday, December 25th, 2011 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Owosso Church of Christ, Owosso, MI on Thursday, December 29th at 1:00 P.M., Pastor Steve Lockwood will officiate.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI.

Fayetta was born in Fowlerville, Michigan on January 24, 1930, the daughter of Robert Emmet and Gertrude M. (Lamb) Monroe, IV.

She married Gerald R. Turner on December 31, 1949 in Webberville, Michigan.

Her most treasured blessing was her family. She enjoyed baking, music, dancing and truly loved to read. Fayetta also liked spending time in the Upper Peninsula with friends and family and traveling to Apache Junction, Arizona in the winter.

She was a member of Owosso Church of Christ, Owosso, MI

Fayetta is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Turner of Morrice, MI; three daughters, Barbara and Fred Jones of Laingsburg, MI; Bonita and Randall Gingrich of Eaton Rapids, MI; and Alice Audia of Eaton Rapids, MI; one son Mark and Lisa Turner of Morrice, MI; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three sisters Kay Wyble of Charlotte, MI; Betty Keener of Lansing, MI; and Norma and Richard Winter of Lansing, MI; and one brother Robert and Gerry Monroe of Webberville, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to Charity of the Donor's Choice.
