Florence Hazel (White) Hutchinson, age 97, of Stanton, MI died Friday, October 30th, 2009 at Metron of Greenville in Greenville, MI. Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Monday, November 2nd at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Wright Cemetery in Pine River Twp. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, and also on Monday one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM. Pastor Jamey Nichols will officiate.
Florence was born in Bethany Twp., Michigan on June 17, 1912, the daughter of Frank Burton and Anetta "Nettie" Maud (Javens) White. Florence was the seventh child of a family of ten, and was the first one to graduate from St.Louis High School in 1931. She was united in marriage to Marion J. Hutchinson on June 11, 1932 in St.Louis. They lived on a farm north of Alma for many years, raising crops and animals.
She is survived by her daughter Janis and Bill Crawford of Stanton, MI; son Jim and Barbara Hutchinson of Hazelgreen, AL; 2 Grandchildren William "Billy" and Toni Crawford of Edmore, MI, Jillayne "Jill" Crawford of Byron Center, MI, 2 Stepgrandchildren Robyn Vincent and Gary Cunningham of Toney, AL, Ronald Britting of Hazelgreen, AL; 4 Great Grandsons, 2 Great Granddaughters, 2 Step Great Granddaughters, 1 Step Great Grandson, 1 Step Great Great Grandson. She is also survived by one sister in law in St.Clair, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Marion Hutchinson, her parents, her brothers Glen White and wife Clarence White, Frankie "Bob" and wife, Marvin White; her sisters Mary Hastings, Zelma and Homer Daniel, Bessie and Lewis Raske, Flora and Jack Holton, Rosella and Arlo Stahl.
