Florence Near age 93, of Saginaw, MI, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Hoyt Nursing Home, Saginaw, MI.

There will be no services.

Florence was born in Saginaw, MI on October 12, 1923, the daughter of Allen and Anna Lovella (Towne) Hunt.  Florence was a homemaker most of her life.

She is survived by her son James and Carol Near of Middleton, MI, daughter Diana Near of Saginaw, MI, grandchildren; Chris M. Near, Michael J. and Shantelle Near, Jason A. and Pam Near, Joshua D. and Janea Near, Bridget Near, and David Near, great grandchildren; Jessie, Charlie and Corey Nelson, Andrea, Anthony, Ashley, Brittany and Wyatt Near, Tyler, Hunter, Kyle, and Lilly Sue Near, Joshua D. Near II, and great great grandchildren; Jaxson, Carter, and Evan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Clifford Near, great great grandson David Joshua Near and her siblings; Bill Hunt, Arzie Hunt, Helen Gravrette, Caroline Graham, Ruby Mae Bennett and Awilda McKinstry.
