Florence B. Luckhurst Ordway age 92 of Owosso, Michigan, died Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel, on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Owosso, Michigan, Rev. Howard Van Buren will officiate and visitation will be Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Florence was born on July 27, 1912 in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Henry Theodore & Anna Marie ( Prelipp ) Wahl. She resided most of her life in the Owosso area. She graduated from Battle Creek High School with the class of 1931. She was married 3 time in her lifetime, she was married to Harold Luckhurst who died in 1954, then married Howard Lotridge who died in 1979 then married J.D. Ordway who died in 1990. She was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and was a lifelong member of Burton Community United Methodist Church.
Survivors include 3 sons, Robert & Doris Luckhurst of Crystal, Michigan, Donald & Mary Jane Luckhurst of Owosso, Michigan, William & Shirley Luckhurst of Owosso, Michigan, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren & 6 great great grandchildren Florence was predeceased by her 3 husbands, 1 son John, 1 great grandson Aric, 1 sister & 2 brothers.
