Floye Erickson

Floye Carolyn "Ma" Erickson, age 82 of Elsie, MI, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Audie Clairmont officiating.  Burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, East Clinton Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Floye was born in McKenzie, Tennessee on October 12, 1935, the daughter of Albert and Lucille (Prince) Bratton.  Floye loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed crocheting and drinking a good cup of coffee at the table.  She attended her favorite church, Church of the Living Word Ovid, MI, and resided most of her life in Elsie.

Floye is survived by her sons; Walter "Butch" Kochan of Brant, MI, Frank "Budd" and Lori M. Kochan of Rose City, MI, Robert "Bob" and Lori Kochan of Ovid, MI, Douglas "Boy" and Susan Kochan of Owosso, MI, daughter Christina "Tina" and Terry Wright of East Tawas, MI, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Helen Finch of Roseville, MI, sister Izene Cash of Erie, PA.  Floye was preceded in death by her parents, husband Irving Edward Erickson, stillborn twin sons Lester and Chester Kochan and step-son James Edward Erickson.
