Foster Cole

Foster I. Cole, age 85, of Alma, MI died Friday, November 9, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Tuesday, November 13th at 2:00 P.M. with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. Burial will take place at Emerson Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Foster was born in Bethany Township, Michigan on June 13, 1927, the son of Ivan F. and Alberta Marie (Battenfield) Cole.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. Foster loved gardening and enjoyed watching animals and feeding birds.

Foster is survived by two sisters, Virginia Vojtas of Alma, MI and Carola Brown of St. Louis, MI, two sisters-in-law, Eldine Cole of Ithaca, MI and Arlene Cole of Alma and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Basil & Kenneth, three sisters, Letha Mae, Dorene and Beulah and five brothers-in-law.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
