Frank Bongard

Frank J Bongard age 79 of Ithaca, Michigan, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Masonic Pathways Alma, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, Michigan on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Mike Loenshal will officiate and visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2006 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Frank was born in Elwell, Michigan on June 25, 1927 the son of Raymond and Lola ( Mizer ) Bongard and her resided most of his life in the Ithaca area. On May 18, 1952 he married Beverly Williams in Alma, Michigan. He worked as an electrician for Bovee Electric for 23 years and Compton Electric. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca, Michigan and a former member of the Ithaca Lions Club and a former Club Scout Leader.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bongard of Ithaca, Michigan, 1 daughter, Kathy Bongard & Francis of Stanton, Michigan, 3 sons, Steven & Laura Bongard of Holland, Michigan, Frank & Connie Bongard of Edmore, Michigan, Richard & Linda Bongard of Ithaca, Michigan, 2 granddaughters, Leighanna & Kyle Brown of Ithaca, Michigan, Sarah Bongard of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, 5 grandsons, Jason Miller of Ithaca, Michigan, Zachary & Valeria Bongard of Alma, Michigan, Aaron Bongard of Colorado, James & Jackie Bongard of Holland, Michigan, Adam & Annie Bongard of East Grand Rapids, Michigan, 6 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Mary Wagner of Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was predecesed by his parents, and 1 brother Clyde.
