Frank Johnson

Frank Johnson, age 96, of Elsie, MI, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Covenant Hospital, Saginaw, MI.

Frank will be buried next to his brother at Ford Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Frank was born in Saginaw County, MI on July 5, 1925, the son of Chester and Elsie (Campbell) Johnson. He graduated from Elsie High School.

Frank worked for Oldsmobile and went on to work and retired from Lear in Elsie.  He was also a lifelong farmer.  He enjoyed raising animals, hunting and fishing.  Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII.  He was a member of the Elsie American Legion.

He is survived by nieces and nephews: Kay McClelland, Jane Morton, Jim Kennedy and Lucy Maier, and Paul and Gayle Kennedy.  He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Elsie Johnson, sisters: Erma Criner, Edna Meadows, Ellen Waggoner, one brother Cy Johnson, nephew Dave McClelland, niece Carol Usman and great nephews Jeff & Scott McClelland.
