Frank Ladiski

Frank Stephen Ladiski, age 88, of Elsie, Michigan passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church Ovid, MI on Tuesday at 10:00 A. M. with Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel, on Sunday and Monday from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. A Rosary will be Prayed Monday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Frank was born in St. Johns, Michigan on April 11, 1923, the son of Victor and Agusta (Dugan) Ladiski. He married Jennie M. Horak on February 16, 1946 in Bannister, Michigan. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
He was a farmer and had retired from Midland Ross Corporation. He resided most of his life in the Elsie area. Frank was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Ovid, Michigan. Frank was very well known for his garden and flowers on the corner of Watson & Ridge Roads.
Frank is survived by his wife Jennie Ladiski of Elsie, MI, daughter Joanne and Krystyn Gromek of Athens, AL, 5 sons; Robert and Joanne Ladiski of Elsie, MI, Edward and Theresa Ladiski of Elsie, MI, Larry and Pat Ladiski of Elsie, MI, Joseph and Darla Ladiski of Elsie, MI, Frank and Connie Ladiski of Greenville, MI, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Mary Cerny and Rudy Doubrava of Elsie, MI, and Mildred and Frank Chapko of Elsie, MI, and brother Paul Ladiski and Doris Kibby of Ovid, MI. Frank was predeceased by his parents, 1 daughter, Carleta, 1 son, Jimmy, 1 sister, Betty, 2 brothers John & Pete.
