Frank Pardee

Frank L. Pardee, age 76, of Ithaca, MI passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Mid Michigan Medical Center - Gratiot, Alma, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Jeff Reser officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Frank was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 15, 1938, the son of Frank Leo and Thelma (Niles) Pardee. He grew up in Haslett, Michigan moving to Ithaca Michigan in 1971. On August 19, 1966 Frank married Virginia Johnson in Lansing, Michigan; Virginia died May 13, 2013.

Frank served his country in the US Marine Corp. He had worked at Oldsmobile in Lansing for 30 years, retiring in 1997. Frank was a member of American Legion in Breckenridge and Moose Lodge in St. Louis, Michigan.

He is survived by his daughter Leslie Chapman of Ithaca, MI, 4 grandchildren; Samantha and Jacob Hinman, Jaden Lewandowski, Lucas Gruesbeck, and Jessica Pardee, 1 great grandson Judah, brother, Fred Pardee and companion Mary, and sister Leenora Thome. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, and son Greg.
