Frederick Rudolph Denovich age 75 of St. Johns, Michigan, died on Sunday, March 27, 2005 at Hazel Findley Country Manor in St. Johns. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, Michigan on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Elsie, Michigan.
Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate and visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005 from 6-8 P.M. & Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel. Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Fred was born in Elsie, Michigan on August 28, 1929 the son of George & Mary ( Moyer ) Demjanovich, he graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1948 and resided most of his life in St. Johns, Michigan. On January 20, 1951 he married Betty Jane Rozen at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, in Bannister, Michigan. He worked for Federal Mogul, sold real estate, and was a machinist for MSU a�" he helped build the cyclotron. Fred also served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns, Michigan, and the Knights of Columbus in St. Johns.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Denovich of St. Johns, Michigan, 3 daughters, Christina & Mike Kleuckling of Atlanta, Georgia, Theresa & Eric Matteo of Okemos, Michigan, Angie & Herb Daumann of Dewitt, Michigan, 2 sons Frederick "Jerry" & Jenny Denovich of Lansing, Michigan, Lynn & Debra Denovich of St. Johns, Michigan, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Margaret Osborn of Ashley, Michigan. He was predeceased by his parents, 5 sisters, & 5 brothers.
