Frederick Spaniolo

Frederick James Spaniolo age 89 of Owosso, Michigan died Monday, July 7, 2008 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate with burial at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 2-8 p.m.with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Frederick was born in Lansing, Michigan on October 4, 1918 the son of Francis John and Josephine Spaniola. He resided most of his life in Owosso, Michigan. Frederick was the proprietor of J. Spaniolo Party Store for many years. His family ran the business for 100 years and he lived above the store his whole life. His life was the store, but he did enjoy traveling. Frederick was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Owosso, MI.

He is survived by his brothers; Paul T. Spaniola of Swartz Creek, MI, and Art & Ann Spaniola of Clinton Township, MI as well as many many nieces & nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and dear friend Shirley Williams of Owosso, MI. He was predeceased by his father in 1955, his mother in 1971, brothers; Victor in 1943, Tony in 1959, Alfonso in 1968, Louie in 1988, and Roy in 1993, and sisters; Anne in 1968, and Mary in 1982.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI
