Gail Kline Fowler age 67 of St. Louis, MI, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at the family cabin at Higgins Lake, MI.
Per Gail's request there will be no funeral services. He will be interred at Coe Township Cemetery with his daughter, Tracie.
Gail was born in Alma, Michigan on March 1, 1951 the son of Donald B. and Ruth E. (Kline) Fowler. He was a graduate of St. Louis High School with the Class of 1969. Gail resided most of his life in St. Louis but loved his time at Higgins Lake, MI.
Gail loved to fish, especially ice fishing with his nephews and friends. His best companion was his dog, Missy. Gail was employed at Gunderman's in St. Louis for 35 years. He was a fifth generation farmer and farmed with his father and brother, Darryl. He loved to vacation in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Gail was talented in woodworking and did remodeling of his home and cabin. He will always be remembered for his kind and giving heart. Gail would help anyone whenever he could. He was a great friend to all that knew him and will be dearly missed. Gail would not want those that loved him to mourn his loss but celebrate his life.
He is survived by his son Brad Fowler of Ithaca, MI; 2 granddaughters: Christian and Tracie and their children; brother: Darryl and Pamela Fowler, of St. Louis, MI; sister-in-law Margaret Fowler of St. Louis, MI; sister-in-law Paula Fowler of East Kentwood, MI; uncle Francis and Ruth Fowler of Houghton Lake, MI; aunt Elaine Fowler of Lansing, MI; several nieces and nephews; special friends Cliff and Barb Ingalls of St. Louis, MI; Chad Yuncker of Traverse City, MI; Zach Noack of St. Louis, MI; Charlie Barnes of St. Louis, MI. Gail was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Tracie Cary, brothers Ron and Dan Fowler, also his aunts and uncles.
