Gail Lucille Hyde

      Gail Lucille Hyde, age 79, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at Kingston Care Center, Ft. Wayne, IN.
     A Graveside Service will be held at Sumner Cemetery, Sumner, MI, with the date to be announced.
     Gail was born in Alma, Michigan on October 15, 1945, the daughter of Gerald D. and Gertrude May (Sampsel) Lott. Gail loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking cookies, sewing, antiquing and dancing with her grandchildren. Gail loved having coffee with her granddaughters at Bigby and weekly coffee with friends at My Sisters Closet. She was a member of Ithaca Presbyterian Church.
     She is survived by her son Todd Hyde of Clio, MI; her daughter Tina (Art McCoy) Castillo of New Haven, IN; grandchildren: Jasmine Cousino, Alex (Lew) Gordon, Trinity Hyde, MacKayla Hyde, Taylor (Katie) Hyde, Ryan (Kate) Shook, Andrew Hyde, and Trisha Hyde; great-grandchildren: Genesis Kovach, Adalynn Kovach, Kyler Shook, Wendolyn Shook, Dean Hyde, and Lainey Gordon. She is also survived by her brother Greg Lott of Leota, MI. Gail was preceded in death by son Troy Warner Hyde (2005), her parents Gerald and Gertrude Lott, her sister Gelinda Thrush (2012), her grandma Sampsel, and father and mother-in-law Cyril and Violet Hyde.
