Gale Cascaddan

Gale Ann Cascaddan, age 64, of Ashley, MI died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Lindy Cascaddan will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 4-8 PM.

Gale was born in Clare County, Michigan on December 31, 1946, the daughter of Edward A. and Esther (Crafard) Eaton. She graduated from Harrison High School with the class of 1964. Gale married Richard "Rick" Cascaddan on March 21, 1964 in Harrison, MI. Rick passed away on April 29, 2009. Gale had been a resident of Ashley for the last 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, going to the casino, and collecting wolves and Elvis memorabilia.

She is survived by her 2 sons; Nicholas and Joanna Cascaddan of Ithaca, MI, Lindy and Shelly Cascaddan of West Haven, UT, daughter Carrie and Ryan Kirkpatrick of Perrinton, MI, 10 grandchildren; Janey, Dillon, Bethany, Lauren, Baylee, Lindsey, Olivia, Nolan, Tyler, and Trista, brother Michael and Sherry Eaton of Ione, OR, and mother in law Teasil Cascaddan of Ashley, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rick, son Christopher, and brother Edward.
