Gary Jorgensen

Gary B. Jorgensen, age 79, of Elsie, Michigan died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with Dr. Donald Ferris-McCann officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Lansing, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Gary was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 30, 1934, the son of Wentzel C. and Anna (Them) Jorgensen. On August 7, 1999 Gary married Judith Beck in Elsie, Michigan. He resided most of his life in Lansing, and Elsie, Michigan. Gary was a master mechanic, and had worked for Vic Rhynard Auto in Lansing, Michigan.

He is survived by wife Judith Jorgensen of Elsie, MI, son Daniel and Karen Jorgensen of Sun City, AZ, 3 grandchildren; Duncan, Christina, and Michael, 2 great grandchildren; Jovoni and Katelynn, sister Annie Hagler, and brother James Jorgensen. He was predeceased by his parents, and brother Charles.
