Gary Terry

Gary L. Terry, age 63, of Corunna, Michigan died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at First Church of Christ in Owosso, Michigan on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Mr. Ron Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM. and on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel.

Gary was born in Chesaning, Michigan on July 5, 1947, the son of Russell R. and Alberta Mae (Van Horn) Terry. On September 30, 1967 he married Linda Martin. Gary retired from General Motors in 1999 after 31 years of service. He was a member of First Church of Christ in Owosso and President of Primetimers. Gary was an avid sports fan, especially when watching his grandchildren. He also liked to travel.

Gary is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Terry of Corunna, MI son Thomas and Mary Terry of Bancroft, MI daughter Tamera and Jason Keller of St. Johns, MI, son Trevor and Wendy Terry of Ypsilanti, MI, 6 grandchildren; Erica, Monica & Mareena Terry, Hannah, Drew & Rob Keller, mother Alberta Terry of Chesaning, MI, brother Don and Jan Terry of Higgins Lake, MI, brother Chet and Pat Terry of Chesaning, MI, brother Russell Terry of Lansing, MI, and mother-in-law Norma Martin of Corunna, MI. Gary was preceded in death by his daughter Trisha Terry, his father Russell Terry, his brother Tom Terry, and father-in-law James Martin.
