Gary Woodruff Sr

Gary L. Woodruff, Sr., age 64, of Corunna, MI passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Bethany Bible Baptist Church, Morrice on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Thomas Goupil will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday August 28, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Sunday, August 29, 2010 from 4-6 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI. .

Gary was born in Flint, Michigan on April 10, 1946, the son of Charles Hubert and Thelma (Gean) Woodruff. He resided most of his life in Owosso and was a member of Bethany Bible Baptist Church, Morrice.

Gary married Joan Bugielski on September 19, 1964 in Flint, MI. Joan passed away on October 10, 2009.
Gary retired from General Electric. He enjoyed golfing, remote control cars and airplanes. Gary was an avid movie fan.

He is survived by his daughter Jackie and Russ Fisher of Owosso, MI; son Gary and April Woodruff, Jr of Chesaning, MI; daughter Julie and John Kluytman of Owosso, MI; son Josh Woodruff of Ohio; mother Thelma Carwile of Burton, MI; 6 grandchildren Donelle, Rebecca, Emilee, John, Jared and Aidan; 2 brothers and 2 sisters

Gary was preceded in death by his father and his wife Joan.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, Michigan.
