George Hayes

George "Ira" Hayes, Jr. died February 19, 2009 at the age of 43. Born in Hawaii on December 8, 1965, the son of George and Vitolinga (Fola) Hayes. George was a welder working in furniture manufacturing and loved to study the Bible. He married Julie Braeutigan in Clinton County on April 6, 2007, as she survives him.

Also surviving are his parents in Hawaii, Mase and Vitolinga, mother and father in law, Carl and Cindy Braeutigan, children, Ashley Blakeslee, Donavan White, Michael Hayes, Amanda Hayes, Jennifer Hayes and Jesse Hayes, brothers, Edward, Jerry, Pete, Joseph and Daniel and sister in law, Brandy (Tyler) French. He was preceded in death by his father, George Edward Hayes.

There will be a Memorial Service 4:30 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at Fenmore Baptist Church, 7888 N. Hollister Rd, Elsie, MI. with Rev. Bill Stites officiating.
