Georgia Plementosh

Georgia Ruth Plementosh, age 64, of Corunna, MI died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Chuck Emmert will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 2-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Georgia was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 22, 1946, the daughter of Rev. James and Sylvia (Deaton) Taulbee. She was a graduate of Durand High School with the class of 1964. Georgia had resided most of her life in Corunna. She had worked at Sears in Owosso, Hopkins Lake IGA in Owosso, and Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing. She loved scrapbooking, reading, bowling, playing cards, and going up north to the cabin. Georgia lived for her grandchildren and treasured every moment with them.

She is survived by her husband Marlin Plementosh of Corunna, MI; daughter Monica Michael of Owosso, MI; daughter Chris and Jeff Nemets of Laingsburg, MI; son Marv and Becky Plementosh of Corunna, MI; daughter Jamie and Matt Davis of Laingsburg, MI; son Quincy and Jessica Glass of Corunna, MI; 7 grandchildren Matthew, Elizabeth, Hunter, Abby, Jackson, Grace, Kayin; special grandsons Henry and Evan; special lifetime best friends Leona McLaren, Jan Glass and Helen Gaynor; special dog Taco; brother James and Kim Taulbee of North Branch, MI; sister Ada Kinney of Pontiac, MI; sister Loretta and Brian Twiest of Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Faith, and a niece Alison.

Memorials may be made to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, Michigan.
