Georgianna V. Underhill was born February 22, 1920 in Ovid Township, Michigan, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2012. She was the daughter of James and Anna (Parker) Morehouse. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Ovid, and served as their Treasurer. She worked at Clinton Memorial Hospital as a Nurse Aide in the maternity ward. She retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital after 29 years of service.

Georgianna married Richard L. Gee on February 18, 1939 and he preceded her in death on July 28, 1941. She married Lysle Underhill on September 1, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1971.

Georgianna is survived by two sons, Richard Gee of Ovid and Wayne (Connie) Underhill of Ovid; five grandchildren, Jonathan (Amy) Gee of Ovid, David (Cathleen) Gee of Amhurst, New Hampshire, Rachelle Winans of Ashley, Darin (Jamie) Underhill of Elsie, and Jennifer (Roger) Williams of St. Johns; seven great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Geneva (James) Morehouse of Okemos. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Catherine Eileen Gee, a grandson, William Underhill, three brothers, Melbourne, Donovan and James Morehouse, and four sisters, Ivah Palen, Frances Coull, Edna Sherman and Thelma Jones.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Houghton Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Ovid. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Wass officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
