Gerald Diehm

Gerald L. Diehm, age 92, died October 17, 2010. Born in Clinton County, on August 8, 1918, the son of Herman and Lucille (Plowman) Diehm. Gerald was a retired farmer and had worked at Federal Mogul. He married Irene Nunemaker in Lansing, on August 31, 1940, and she preceded him in death on November 20, 1999.

Surviving is their son, Arkie (Darlene) Diehm of Barneveld, WI, three grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and one brother, Stuart Diehm of Lansing. Also preceding him in death was brother, Robert Diehm and sister, Geraldine Miller.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wed., October 20, 2010, at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, with Pastor Kathy Leydorf officiating, burial to follow at the Dewitt Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., on Tuesday and 10-11 a.m., prior to the service on Wed. Contributions may be made in Gerald's memory to the American Cancer Society or Northpointe Community Church.
