Gerald "Jerry" Arthur Henry, age 75, of Bannister, Michigan, died Friday, February 19, 2010 at Clinton Memorial Hospital, St. Johns, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, MI on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Kathy Leydorf will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Gerald was born in Howell, Michigan on May 30, 1934, the son of Lambert Jesse and Bonnie Brown (Schoenhals) Henry. He graduated from Pinkney High School with the class of 1952. Jerry served his country during the Korean War and had resided in the Mid-Michigan area most of his life. On September 30, 1978 he married Carol Salisbury in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Jerry had worked for Schneider's Appliance in Owosso, Michigan, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and swimming.

Survivors include his wife Carol Henry of Bannister, MI, 2 daughters; Roseanne Scott of Columbia, MS, Sharon and Jim Michaels of Ten Mile, TN, 3 sons; Michael and Sheila Henry of Bath, MI, Brent Henry of Lansing, MI, Bruce Henry of Elcento, CA, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister Katheryn and Keith Bradbury of Dexter, MI, 4 brothers; Gary and Helen Henry of Pekin, IL, Lambert and Joyce Henry of Sears, MI, Charles and Donna Henry of Schaumburg, IL, and Bruce and Juleen Henry of Brighton, MI. Jerry was predeceased by his parents & a son Gerald A. Henry Jr.
