Gerald "Jerry"Metzmaker

Gerald L. "Jerry" Metzmaker, died January 25, 2010, at the age of 74. Born on November 7, 1935, in Eagle, the son of Raymond and Zella (Walker) Metzmaker. Jerry loved to bowl and was an avid fan of the Tigers. He married Theresa DuMond on December 30, 1972, in Potterville, and she survives him.

Also surviving are their children, Sue (Ray) Poyer of Eaton Rapids, Ray Metzmaker of St. Johns, Tina Ward of St. Johns, Sandy Metzmaker of Mt. Pleasant and Brian (Jen) Metzmaker of St. Johns, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchilren, brothers, Howard Metzmaker and Jack (Pat) Metzmaker, many, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Zella Metzmaker.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010, at the Osgood Funeral Home, burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made in Jerry's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
