Gerald "Daffy" Francis LeBlanc age 47 of St. Louis, Michigan died Saturday, February 24, 2007 at his home.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Louis First Baptist Church, on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Derreck Jewell will officiate There will be no Visitation.
Gerald was born in Chicago, IL on February 20, 1960 the son of Maurice X. and Luella ( Lufkins ) LeBlanc. He resided most of his life in the U.P. before moving to St. Louis in 1999. He graduated from Brimley High School with the class of 1978. Gerald married Susan Empson on July 29, 2006 in St. Louis, MI. Gerald served in the U.S. National Guard from 1978 a�" 1981. He was employed with the Michigan Department of Corrections in St. Louis for the past 22 years. He loved gardening, golfing, NASCAR; he was a Dale Jr. fan; bowling, gambling, and he was a die hard Lions football fan. Gerald was a member of Moose Lodge #1566.
He is survived by his wife Susan LeBlanc of St. Louis, MI, 2 daughters; Loni LeBlanc of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Jill LeBlanc of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, 2 step-daughters; Samantha Miller of Orlando, FL, Jamie Miller of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, mother Luella & Gene Raymond of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, 3 sisters Rochelle Menominee of Brimley, MI, Annette Olsen of Milton, WI, Charlene LeBlanc of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and twin brother Darrell LeBlanc of Brimley, MI. He is predeceased by his father, 2 brothers Kevin & Maurice Jr. and his grandparents.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
